Uncle Terry taught Eric a lot about trees and plants and when we built our house he convinced Eric to let me plant an Ash tree near the house and the tile bed. 25 years later after loosing almost all our Ash trees, my Ash tree in my favorite spot is still alive and doing well!

Dear Ruth and family,
Sending our condolences on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. We have many fond memories of experiences with Terry as he was so generous in sharing your farm with our children, both as young naturalists and in school groups. We have many photos of our children with animals at your place - a racoon, Jeff the horse, the sheep, and the bees. We remember him giving them a ride in the buggy, taking us for walks around the property and sharing winter activities such as tobogganing and skating. Getting a Christmas tree at your farm was a treasured tradition, and canoeing up Long Lake to your cottage was another special memory. Terry was a knowledgeable and energetic man, who we were lucky to have known.

Dear Ruth and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on behalf of McMaster Engineering. I remember meeting you and Terry at your home for a delicious lunch and at our McMaster reunion events. Terry enjoyed the special tribute of being a member of the very first graduating class from our program and will be remembered fondly as member of our Fireball Family!
Warmly,
