Jack was always there for my Mom, his neighbour across the street at #1 Wingett Way. He looked after simple tasks for her at times something she and all of us (her family) are grateful for. All the neighbours have been wonderful but Jack and Ruth were a bit special. I always enjoyed my driveway chats with him often to share a laugh. And no wonder, seems like Jack's life with family and all his activities revolved around joy of living. To Ruth, family and also the neighbours I share sadness at this time.

Jack was a wonderful neighbour to my Mother, Eileen Filman, and to our family.
He was always helping others and spreading good humour as he did so.
It was clear that he adored Ruth and he was a great support to her at all times.
Jack was one of a kind.
I will never forget him.
He will be missed by all those he touched in his life.
