Pam was my first sister-in-law and we became very close over the years and even after she and Peter split, we continued to be friends and sisters at heart. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out; loved her family, especially Greg and Jason, and Allan and his boys. She was a very positive person who saw the good in people. She had a great sense of humour and enjoyed life at all times. I will miss her tremendously and can only pray that she’s in a better place. Allan, I’m so glad you had so many years together with Pam to share your lives. Thank you for all you did for her. Sincerest condolences to all of the family from both Ozz and I.

Allen and family,
I met Pam at a New Horizons Music Camp many years ago, and we served together on the Board of the New Horizons International Music Association, and became good friends. She introduced me to "Not Your Daughter's Jeans." She was one of the most delightful individuals I have ever known. Her presence would light up the room. I miss her laughter. She often spoke of you and your family with love and pride. My heart goes out to you in your loss. May the many happy memories bring you comfort. Sending you strength and sincerest condolences. Nancy Wombacher (Iowa City, IA)

Peterborough New Horizons Bands posted a condolence
Thursday, October 5, 2023
Pam was a very good alto sax player and active in the international organization of NHIMA and was a Board member of the Peterborough New Horizons Bands. She attended many band camps. Pam also played with the Apsley Fireflies and The Dynamics. The first practice location for The Dynamics was in Pam's rec room at her home. She will be missed by our members. Our condolences to her family and friends.

Dear Family, I remember Pam from way back when Greg and Jason were babies. Her sister in law, Eve and I were friends and spent many times visiting her and Peter at their chalet home on Buckhorn Lake I believe. I liked her immediately. She was a gracious host and a great cook I remember. My condolences to all. RIP Pam. Monica McCorquodale.

Lorna Devan posted a condolence

Dear Allan,
We extend to you our deepest sympathy at the passing of Pam. We met Pam at the organizational meeting of the Peterborough New Horizons Band. She was part of the original band as were we. Later she and you provided the space to begin the small group band called The Dynamics which is still performing at various nursing and retirement homes including Lakefield Extendicare.
Pam was such a joyful person and provided warmth and good humour wherever she went. We attended several band camps with her and those trips with her were so much fun. She introduced the game Catch Phrase to anyone at a camp that wanted to play. Did we ever laugh a lot. Of course she was an excellent Sax player and loved her music.
We will miss her very much. Our condolences to you and your family.
Sincerely
John and Lorna Devan
