My deepest condolences to Mark's family on his recent passing. Although I didn't work directly with him at GM I have great memories of chatting with him as he always had a smile during a routine day in the plant. Rest in peace Mark , you will be missed by so many.

I'm still having a hard time believing this tragedy has happened. Have known Mark for a long time from riding motorcycles, dirt bikes,golfing,playing hockey and working in gm for 30yrs you were a classic my friend. My walks with the dog would often end up in the garage (which was always spotless or aceafied)shooting the breeze and the odd pop..lol R.I.P my friend.

One of the most memorable and respected members of our GM Plant 2-Trim people was Mark. Living only three blocks away from him in Courtice,we used to run into each other often while out on the mountain bike or just out and about. I'm deeply saddened to hear of his sudden passing,a good friend and a dedicated family man gone too soon. I extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Mark's family. He shall be dearly missed.

I was deeply saddened when I heard of Marks' (Ace) passing. He truly was a memorable individual both on and off the ice. Having known Ace many years, we played hockey on the same teams and also as opponents. I can even remember him taking a stint in goal when we needed a netminder in our shinny. He always was adept at blocking shots, so it was easy for him to conquer.
I also fondly remember when he joined the crew up in the Foam Booth, and I would occasionally go up to visit. My sincere condolences go out to Mark's family. I was lucky to have shared the odd pop with him. He was taken from us far to soon.

My sincerest condolences.
Mark (Ace) was one of my first and best team leaders at GM. He always made you feel welcome and safe and never turned away to lending a hand. I can say he shared his excitement and love for his family and special anniversary weekends away. Always a smile on a dull gm day and warmed the hearts of many.

I played alot of hockey with Ace on The Hounds. Ace would block any shot and wear the bruise with honor. I was very sad when I heard that Mark has passed. My deepest condolences to Mark's family. He was a very nice man.

I’ll always remember the humble humour this man brought to our neighborhood. Being old time neighbors with Mark I remember all good times he shared with us. Mark really loved his family and I’ll never forget when they gave birth to Brent, the joy he had knowing he officially had his “boy” Jennifer growing up was his little buddy whenever he was outside and Karen was caring for Brent. He loved having bbqs out back, always on the go with something. I’ll never forget how open and loving this household was. Mark was a social butterfly always kept a very open & welcoming relationship with all the neighbors. His memories will live on…. His resemblance will also… Brent is his mini me (such a look a like)
