It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of Mark Allan Petre (Ace), on December 7th, 2023, at the age of 57, after retiring from 34 years at General Motors.
Mark will be lovingly remembered by, and forever missed by his wife Karen, daughter Jennifer, son Brent and second daughter, (in law) Kendra, brother Grant, niece Olivia, and our 4 puppers. Mark’s radiant spirit illuminated every space with an amazing smile and laughter that brought joy to all around him. He cherished moments with family, friends on the golf course, at work, and on his motorcycle.
His devotion extended to his beloved wife Karen and their love story enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to witness it. A truly remarkable, kind, caring and genuine man that many looked up to. Mark leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and everlasting memories. We are forever grateful and hounored to have had so many unforgettable, amazing years with him.
May he rest in peace, his vibrant spirit forever alive in our hearts.
A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood, on Sunday December 17, 2023 from 12:00-3:00 PM.
