Obituary of Neil Joseph Watts

WATTS: Neil Joseph

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Saturday August 17, 2024.  Neil Watts of Peterborough, formerly of Warsaw in his 73^rd year.  Neil was a licensed electrician for his entire career, working for various companies including for over 20 years with Ontario Corrections.  He was always active in his community, serving on the Warsaw Arena Board, Peterborough Ploughman’s Association and with Warsaw Minor Hockey.  He also loved to be outdoors and spent time hunting and fishing.  He is loved and missed by his sons Tim (Meg) of Peterborough and Kevin (Lenora) of Waterloo.  Loving grandpa of Declan, Mason (Eve), Joshua and Brennan.  Also missed by several cousins and their families.  Predeceased by his parents Joe and Betty Watts of Warsaw.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Monday August 26, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday August 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM.  Interment St. Mark’s Cemetery, Warsaw.  A reception will follow in the Warsaw Town Hall.  Memorial donations may be made to The War Amps or charity of your choice as expressions of sympathy, and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
